TruckStop is a revolutionary new fleet management system which prevents
unauthorized operators from using lift trucks and other materials management equipment.
The system consists of a dash or cage mounted Truck Reader, a Truck Control Unit (TCU) and TruckStop software.

The Truck Control Unit (TCU) stores the ID number of up to 100 Driver Keys. Each key can
be programmed to operate at all times or according to one of three user defined 7-day
Access Schedules. TruckStop allows the conventional keyswitch to be
totally eliminated along with the cost of issuing keys and re-keying of switches when keys
are lost. All operator activity is logged (time and date stamped) in the TCU's
non-volatile memory.
The Truck Reader is constructed of heavy duty anodized aluminum and stainless steel and
will stand up to the harshest abuse. Driver Keys consist of a non-volatile memory chip
housed in a hermetically sealed stainless steel disk and are designed to stand up to years
of rough service. Its small size makes it suitable for carrying on a key ring or mounting
on an ID card. Each Driver Key contains a unique 64 bit ID number and cannot be
duplicated.
All system programming is done at the PC using the TruckStop
software. Programming consists of entering the driver data, setting up schedules, defining
holidays, etc. Once programming has been completed, the data is transferred to a Program
or Setup key using the supplied serial port adapter and programming wand. The Program (or
Setup) key is then presented at the appropriate Truck Reader(s) and the data is
transferred to the TCU's non-volatile memory.
The software supports up to 255 Trucks.
